after hours

After Hours is a collection of still, introspective moments across several busy nights in Hong Kong. In between the hustle and bustle are slivers of loneliness and nostalgia that add layers of complexity to the urban landscape. For a city so well known for its neon lights and night scene, I wanted to do its reputation justice but simultaneously highlight some of the lesser known everyday-beauties you see in open-air markets, local diners, and streets. My hope for these images is they encapsulate to a viewer exactly what I feel in between each frame.

Don’t tell anyone, but her guilty pleasure song is “Yummy” by Justin Bieber.
